ASPHER Core Curriculum Programme

The ASPHER Core Curriculum Programme (CCP) has contributed to a newly published book, Health and Climate Change: Unraveling the Connections, co-authored with colleagues from the ASPHER Climate and Health Working Group and international planetary health group POP Protect our Planet Movement (New York).

The CCP team collaborated on Chapter 17, titled “Active Participation of Youth in Addressing Climate Change Issues." The chapter highlights the vital role of young people in driving climate action and shaping future public health responses to the climate crisis. It explores strategies to empower youth voices, promote education, and integrate climate advocacy into public health training.

This contribution reinforces ASPHER’s commitment to preparing the next generation of public health professionals to tackle the health impacts of a changing climate.
